Rather than focusing on the negative right away, I thought I would start with my strong point in budgeting, groceries. I am an avid couponer and have been doing so for about a year now. It has saved me thousands of dollars and has drastically reduced my monthly expenses. My aim for march is to keep my budget under 100$. This includes all household, food, eating out (if we do this), pullups, toilitries, and my coupons. This also includes gardening seeds, soil if needed. Before couponing and budgeting we were spending about 400$ a month on the above items. It has only been since i have a decent stockpile that i have seen my budget drastically decrease in the past few months. Last month I was at about 160$ for the month total oop. And by all means we do not starve nor go with out items. We are not big meat eaters by choice and we only eat poultry and seafood on a rare occasion. I don't buy it much unless it is a great sale or if we have a craving for some chicken. We do eat quite a bit of eggs as they are on sale a lot and make for great stir fries, snacks, baking and even as a main course.
March oop : 54.83/100
My strong point

I've gotten away from coupons as of late. Most products with coupons do not meet my guidelines for nutrition. I will buy toilet paper with a coupon, though!
